Lady Goodgirl is one of the largest motor yachts
designed by renowned naval architect Philip Rhodes. The vessel was
built at the Hall Russell shipyard in Aberdeen Scotland in 1964 for
General Robert Wood Johnson of the pharmaceutical company Johnson
& Johnson and was launched under the name Pilgrim.
It was under the name Lady Angela she underwent
a total refit to bring this classic back to her glory and beyond in
the late nineties. Under new ownership in two thousand and one she
then underwent a second extensive refitting which is guaranteed to
provide her guests a truly wonderful yachting experience. Classic
brass and wood finishes along with museum quality fine furniture
and marine art from eminent artists such as Thomas Butterworth,
Thomas Whitcombe and Montague Dawson. Lady Goodgirl will remind you
of her classic heritage.
Lady Goodgirl accommodates a total of eleven
guests in five staterooms, three of which are particularly large.
The mid ship master suit which is accessed by a private staircase
offers his and her bathrooms with extremely generous closet space.
Beautifully paneled teak walls
accent a lush carpeted floor. The
second master is located forward on the main deck has a full
bathroom and walk in closet with a brightness offered through main
deck windows. A further double with an additional single bed, and
two twin cabins are found in the stern of the yacht. There is also
a study on the main deck.
Lady Goodgirl has very generous deck space to
enjoy while you sit back and watch the world go by. The main deck
has dining to accommodate twelve with seating around the canoe
stern. Forward there is bench seating on the bow for those who
enjoy a view with a breeze. The first deck has a wonderful
horseshoe teak bar that seats ten. Aft of the bar is a seating area
with umbrellas perfect for relaxing with a good book. The third
deck is a sun and exercise deck that includes a large sun beds and
exercise equipment including treadmill, cross trainer and
free weights. Offering all the modern comforts including, air
conditioning, satellite television, DVD and high quality audio
systems Goodgirl has old world charm dovetailed in with modern
comfort.

Lady Goodgirl is manned by nine crew who are
qualified in accordance with the requirements of the British Mara
time and Coastguard Agency, the international recognized safety
standard to which the yacht strictly adheres. Of these the captain,
mate chief engineer, boson and deckhand take charge of nautical
aspects of the yacht, while guests are cared for by the highly
qualified and attentive interior staff that includes a
professionally trained chief and three stewardesses.
