Lady Goodgirl is one of
the largest motor yachts designed by renowned naval architect
Philip Rhodes. The vessel was built at the Hall Russell shipyard in
Aberdeen Scotland in 1964 for General Robert Wood Johnson of the
pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson and was launched under
the name Pilgrim.
It was under the name Lady Angela she underwent a total
refit to bring this classic back to her glory and beyond in the
late nineties. Under new ownership in two thousand and one she then
underwent a second extensive refitting which is guaranteed to
provide her guests a truly wonderful yachting experience. Classic
brass and wood finishes along with museum quality fine furniture
and marine art from eminent artists such as Thomas Butterworth,
Thomas Whitcombe and Montague Dawson. Lady Goodgirl will remind you
of her classic heritage.
Lady Goodgirl accommodates
a total of eleven guests in five staterooms, three of which are
particularly large. The mid ship master suit which is accessed by a
private staircase offers his and her bathrooms with extremely
generous closet space. Beautifully paneled teak walls accent a lush
carpeted floor. The second master is located forward on the main
deck has a full bathroom and walk in closet with a brightness
offered through main deck windows. A further double with an
additional single bed, and two twin cabins are found in the stern
of the yacht. There is also a study on the main deck.
